Hi, I’m Maja Sofie — The woman behind this blog!

I love homeschooling my two wonderful girls and love to share about all the wonderful things we make, read, and learn here.

I have always been an artist and writer, and that is the hearth my professional life. I also have a degree in Physical Therapy from Denmark, then worked as a scientist right out of college, but for more than a decade now I have worked as a full time artist and writer.

Our journey into homeschooling was kind of accidental — My wonderful husband, Martin, and I are both from Denmark and thought we would travel to Denmark outside school holidays in the first elementary years, so we thought why not just homeschool those first couple of years?! Then covid hit and we never really got to travel, however, the whole family found out we loved homeschooling so much we just continued.

Early on I began to consume blogs and youtube channels about homeschooling at a huge quantum and slowly I began to dream of sharing our own experiences and that is when started this blog and my youtube channel.

I hope my writing and videos can inspire and bring hygge to everyone who tunes in!
