Our Everyday Homeschool Life
Slow living in December
This fall has been so busy - Mathilde is so lucky to be Annie in the musical Annie and she is so amazing with her singing, dancing and acting - I love it! But combined with to many online classes and so many things both her and I want to do in our homeschool we are running from place to place trying to play catch up and this will have to change or we will simply burn out— so a change has to happen!
I started a YouTube channel
It is so much fun — I have never tried this type of creativity before and I love it— everything from thinking about the content, making my bullet script, to making pictures for my playlists using Canva. It has been so much fun and it is an amazing creative outlet for me!
Morning Baskets
Morning baskets has been a stable thing throughout our homeschooling and even before I declared myself an homeschooler. I love coming up with surprises for my kids in the morning basket.
Date balls
The good thing about the recipe is that there is plenty for kids to help with - Mathilde loves pressing dates through the garlic press and rolling the balls.
